Robot – cockroach
The length of the cockroach is less than 10 centimeters. It can develop a speed of up to 30 centimeters per second and it is able to carry a cargo weighing 10 grams (it is like a camera). The robot is equipped with photosensitive sensors and it has a system of contact and non-contact sensors. It is necessary for finding and avoiding obstacles.

It is the first time when scientists have created so small and so qualitative electronic insect which imitate a natural prototype. Robot – cockroach was developed by order of the Russian organization. In addition, its behavior does not cause any suspicion.

The only prototype of the Russian micro-scout is the South American Blaberus Giganteus. Scientists and engineers were working on this robotic copy for about 7 months.
